Track Record
During the past five years over 50 schools in Manchester have introduced Bridget Sheehan's approaches into their schools and many more have accessed the training provided. Rochdale has also bought in her approaches. In 2006 she received the Play Therapy International Award for the approaches and training she has developed. Bridget is a qualified teacher, has a Masters degree in Counselling and is a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
Consultants
Any consultants used by eQe are either therapists or therapeutic play specialists. All have significant experience of working in schools and have demonstrated their ability to connect with children and to work productively with school staff.
"Time spent in the very attractive Th.Inc.Room... helps children to learn to control their emotions."
"Inclusion is a top priority and strategies to promote this are effective. For instance, the innovative Th.Inc.Room where children receive one-to-one to help with emotional difficulties, has helped to reduce the number of recurring exclusions."
"Pastoral care is good and a strength. The 'starlight room' does much to encourage pupils to modify their behaviour and to raise their self-esteem."
"The opportunities to reflect in the Magic Room foster pupils' spiritual development and have a positive effect on their behaviour and engagement with school."
